"With more than 30 years in education, including many years in fine private schools, I have had the opportunity to work with many gifted teachers and musicians.  Mr. Daniels qualifies as one of the best... He was responsible for lining up the instrument rental program for parents, arranging the schedule for minimal impact on the academic program, and providing performance opportunities for his young musicians.  He helped design a new keyboard lab  that is used by all of our students from grades 4-12... His accomplishments in two short years require more superlatives than I can muster." --
Doris Schroeder,
Head of School
Abby Kelley Foster Charter Public School

"Mr. Daniels was responsible for supervising student workers, rehearsal assistance, organizing concerts and festivals, communication with music educators, etc.  In all capacities, his work was first rate" --
James R. Saker, Ph.D., Director of University Bands
The University of Nebraska - Omaha

"Mr. Daniels was a former conducting student of mine at which time I recognized a special talent...  he proved himself to be a responsible, dependable and valuable asset to our organization... an ambitious leader with excellent knowledge of the subject matter.  I strongly recommend him to you..." -- Peter Cokkinias, DMA, Professor Music Education
Berklee College of Music

Let Us Show You How to Expand Your Resources, Not Your Budget...

Fellow Administrator,

Ever wonder how some schools can offer music, visual arts, sports, and a plethora of extracurricular activities, yet still have the time and resources to maintain a competitive edge through focus on core subjects like reading, writing, and arithmetic?

Ever wonder how to make your after school programs more exciting by offering something other than tutorial services?

As administrator of your k-12 school or youth organization, at some point you have pondered (or will ponder) these things and other questions too.

Questions like:

"We understand the importance of k-12 music education but how can we best afford the type of music programs our parents and students really want?"

"We'd like to offer choir to our students but their school day is already quite full. How do we easily manage and organize an after school music program?"

"We are a new school / organization, how can we better attract parents and students?"

"We already have a band program, but how do we offer something for students who are interested in learning to play string and other orchestral instruments?"

"How and from where should we obtain instruments?  And, what should we look for in a quality music teacher?"

Sound familiar?

We know you have these questions because we work with people like you everyday and these are the types of questions we answer.   We work with people who understand the value of music in education.  We work with busy people who want the best for their students, but who need a little assistance with "putting it all together" to create outstanding music programs for their organizations.

Our business is helping you to achieve the quality music program of your dreams at the best possible price.  And, we are good at it.

We offer low, low prices on instrument rental and purchase.  Moreover, we offer private and group instruction in vocal and instrumental music to k-12 students at up to 40% off the price of independent music schools in Boston.  Click here to view a comparison!

Best of all, we can even show you how to get a top quality music program at little or no cost to your organization.  We will elaborate on this later.

First, consider what DMS programs can do for you and your organization.  We help you to:

  •  Tailor your music education program according to your time constraints and priorities  --
We are flexible enough to accommodate needs both big and small, whether you have an existing music program or not.

  •  Avoid common mistakes in selecting music teachers --
We screen, hire, and specially train every DMS music instructor.

  •  Discover the best way to structure an after-school music program --
We understand that budget and time constraints often make holding music class during the school day difficult, so we offer great after-school music programs as alternatives.

  •  Manage instrument purchase or rentals --
Because we do business with instrument companies in bulk, we can offer the best prices to our member schools and organizations.

  •  Engage your students with a music curriculum focused on performance --
DMS coordinates every aspect of student recitals and performances.

  •  Relax --
You get a dedicated program manager who works with you to implement a program that meets your specific needs.  We handle all aspects of the music program including billing as a service to you.

As you are relaxing, you may be wondering how we make quality music education affordable for everyone.  It's simple strategy.  We implement our top-notch music programs in satellite locations, namely schools and community organizations, throughout the greater Boston area.  Since we come to you, our overhead is minimal and we can give you the best possible prices for instruments, staffing, and curriculum.  In keeping with our mission to provide affordable access to the arts through education and performances of the highest caliber, we offer each of our member schools access to resources for funding (including grants) and school pay and/or parent-pay options.  It is through a combination of the these three options, that it is possible for you to get a quality music program at little or no cost your organization.

Remember that DMS frees you from having to worry about finding the right music educator, coordinating instruments, buying or designing the curriculum, contacting parents, collecting fees (if any), planning for master classes and performances and everything else that comes with developing an outstanding music program.  Let us do the work.  Creating win-win situations for everyone involved is what we do best.

You owe it to yourself and your students to deliver the best possible music program.
Let us show you where to begin.

What can you expect from a meeting with a Daniels Music Schools representative?

When you contact us, you can expect...

An initial meeting with a DMS representative (in person or via phone) :
During this time we listen to you tell us about your organization and your goals for a music program.  We want to know how many students are in your organization, what kind of program interests you (instrumental, vocal or both) and whether you have an existing music program.  We will also discuss any issues or special challenges your organization may face.  This is the perfect opportunity for you to ask us any questions you may have.

Second meeting:
Based on what you've told us in our initial conversation, we present to you several options for a music program.  We then work together to fine-tune the details and to outline a plan for introducing the program to parents and students.

Parent's Night  & Student Recruitment:
We come to your location and present the program we have co-developed with you to your students and their parents.  Typically the night starts with an exciting concert or demonstration by DMS faculty and ends with instruction on registration.
